We are seeking Senior Network Engineers to join our government project supporting Defense Logistics Agency (DLA).
The consolidated application support includes, but is not limited to, application database administration, application level web system administration, and technical support for up to an estimated 300 DLA Applications/Systems hosted in production, test, development, and staging environments in cloud and on premise environments. In addition, technical services include support to Energy Procurement Support Tools (EPST) supporting all applications, technical environments, locations, and configurations for which Operational Energy Applications (OEA) is responsible, and Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) Managed Services of cloud environments (cloud technology management, operational support, software sustainment support, and data integration).
Works under general supervision, developing the requirements of a product from inception to conclusion.
Develops required specifications for simple to moderately complex problems.
Current and anticipated network equipment for which the vendor must have expertise includes a COTS 10 Gigabit Ethernet LAN and associated software and hardware equipment.
Network experience with corporate, campus-wide CISCO LAN plant with Gigabit switching and routing to internal servers and external networks.
Coordinates with the Vendor PM, COTRs, and government user representatives to ensure accurate solutions and user satisfaction on technical matters.
Five (5) years of progressive Information Technology (IT) experience including at least two projects in technical areas included in the Statement of Work Task Area 1, Section 4.1 a and 4.1 b. At least one project must have occurred within the past three (3) years.
Minimum Secret clearance
Must hold one of the following IAT Level II or III certifications:
CISSP (or Associate)
Must hold one of the following computing certifications: CCNP, MCITP SA, MCSA
