As a reputable company in the IT staffing industry, you can trust us to place you in the right position. We currently have an opportunity for a Portfolio Analyst in South Florida. Scope of work: Support the implementation and administration of the project portfolio management solution across the IT organization with the goal of ensuring alignment across IT, and its business partners, and improving the successful execution of IT initiatives. The Analyst will partner across teams to enhance project intake/demand management processes while identifying improvement areas, create and implement recommendations and action plans. This role will train and educate stakeholders on intake/demand management procedures and ensure team members execute in compliance with standards. In addition, this role is responsible for supporting a team of Project and Portfolio Managers with respect to project administration, gating and governance. The Analyst, IT Enterprise Portfolio will provide project management guidance as it relates to maintaining data integrity within the tool to help teams gain better insight into their portfolio’s performance allowing teams to improve planning efforts and ensure predictable delivery. The Analyst, IT Enterprise Portfolio will be charged with assisting in driving the organization’s project management capability towards best practice. The role will also be responsible for monitoring the delivery of multiple IT projects across the businesses. In addition, this role will educate teams to adopt project management best practices by providing the necessary leadership and ensure project teams are adhering to project management standards. This role will also assist with soliciting feedback to streamline processes as part of the ongoing process improvement initiatives for project management. ________________________________________ Required skills/competencies: • Knowledge of project portfolio management skills (project intake, resource planning, demand management, budget management). • Effectiveness working diplomatically across teams with varying objectives. • Knowledge of SharePoint, Outlook, MS Project, Microsoft Office tools • Advanced excel skills, VBA, formulas, macros, pivot tables, etc. • Creation of PowerPoint presentations for leadership audiences. • Available for occasional overnight travel (Less than 10%). • Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments. • Ability to work well under limited supervision in a fast-paced environment. • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and diplomacy. • Strong research, analytical, problem-solving and decision making capabilities. • Bachelor's Degree in related discipline or related subject and/or demonstrated capability through four (4) previous years of experience and education. • Two (2) years of experience in IT Program/Project Management with Delivery experience. • Five (5) or more years financial or accounting experience in a project delivery or support role. • Experience with Project and Portfolio Management tools a plus. ________________________________________ Preferred Skills: • PMP Certification • Scrum Certification • Jira Preferred Education: • Bachelor's Degree in related discipline or related subject and/or demonstrated capability through four (4) previous years of experience and education. • Two (2) years of experience in IT Program/Project Management with Delivery experience. • Five (5) or more years financial or accounting experience in a project delivery or support role. • Experience with Project and Portfolio Management tools a plus. ________________________________________ Required Certifications: Maximum hours: 40 hours per week About TekPartners: TekPartners is one of the fastest growing private staffing firms in the United States.
