Field Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled, dedicated and motivated technical savvy person to join our team. As a Flow Meter Service Technician, your primary responsibility will be to perform maintenance, calibration, and repair services on various electronic flow meters in the San Joaquin Valley and other areas of California. You will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and reliable flow meter operation for our clients. Qualifications & Requirements

•Proven experience in servicing, maintaining, and calibrating electronic & mechanical flow meters or similar instruments

•Strong technical aptitude with a deep understanding of flow measurement principles and associated equipment

•Proficient in using various tools and equipment for calibration and diagnostics purposes

•Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team

•Effective communication skills to interact with clients, colleagues, and management effectively

•Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to maintain accurate service records

•Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment with frequent travel to client sites

•High school diploma or GED. Associates degree preferred

•Requires valid California driver's license and insurable at standard rates

•Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

•Requires passing a pre-employment medical exam and drug screening test

•Requires passing a background check

Responsibilities

•As a Flow Meter Service Technician, your primary responsibility will be to perform maintenance, calibration, and repair services on various flow meters used in agricultural & municipal settings

•Conduct installation, maintenance, and calibration of flow meters according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards

•Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with flow meters, identifying the root causes of malfunctions and implementing appropriate solutions

•Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on flow meters to ensure optimal performance and longevity

•Collaborate with clients to understand their specific requirements and provide expert advice on flow meter usage and maintenance best practices

•Keep detailed records of service activities, including maintenance logs, calibration data, and repair reports

•Work closely with the sales and support teams to provide technical expertise during customer interactions and assist in resolving technical inquiries

•Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and advancements related to flow meters and fluid measurement techniques

•Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment during service visits and equipment handling

•Continuously improve service processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction

•Assist in developing training materials and conducting training sessions for clients and internal staff on flow meter operation and maintenance
