We are currently recruiting for a Commissioning Engineer. The Commissioning Engineer is responsible for the implementation of control solutions (hardware and software) on a project basis as part of a field support team. These solutions primarily include material handling systems. This individual has responsibility for working directly with customers, interacting with machine builders' representatives, interfacing with other field support personnel and providing oversight and direction to contractors within the project team. Responsibilities include initial production support and providing maintenance training on the equipment that has been commissioned. This position will be based remotely, but within 2 hours of a major U.S. airport; travel is approximately 90-100% of the time.
Troubleshoot and test the control system in accordance with defined engineering and product standards to meet the customer’s requirements.
Generate project documentation including, but not limited to: commissioning checklist, and site test data.

Required Skills / Knowledge
Solid control system knowledge (PLC)
Adept at starting up and troubleshooting VFDs
Solid understanding of pneumatic-based systems
Extensive experience with sensors and instrumentation
Proficient in Rockwell Automation RSLogix programming for machine control applications.
Working knowledge of Ethernet IP
Experience IO-Link is a plus
Ability to work remotely with minimal oversight.
Strong desire to work on projects as part of a team.
Communicates extremely well at all levels of the organization (both verbally and written).
