This position will be responsible for managing our internal IT environment and the tools used to assist our clients. They will also be the primary resource tasked for any workstation, server or cloud deployment needed to support internal initiatives including, but not limited to Office365, Azure, AWS, and Linux. 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

Tool Maintenance 

  • Responsible for the routine upkeep and functionality of Technium’s existing tool set. This includes Netbox, RestorePoint, LogicMonitor, Autotask, and Nessus 
  • Maintains all tool updates, patches and backups associated with the Technium tool set and devices 
  • Addresses any identified issues associated with tool functionality or reporting 
  • Regularly review all existing documentation and confirm it is up to date 
  • Holds monthly meetings with operation staff to help identify potential issues with tool and creates tickets to resolve them 

Internal IT 

  • Support Office365, all MFA utilities, and any user requests related to internal technology needs or requests 
  • Deploys, maintains, and supports end-point workstations for all new and existing staff 
  • Deploys, maintains, and supports all virtual/physical servers and desktops 
  • Maintains the health, functionality and security related to our active directory structure, Azure and AWS 
  • Reviews and deploys patches to all internal end point and server systems in a routine basis according to best practices 
  • Manages and executes the onboarding / offboarding of staff and their IT needs and access 
  • Reviews all IT practices and creates process that aligns the organization with existing and upcoming compliance standards (SOC 2 for example) 
  • Identify and create the necessary policies and procedures needed to allow for a seamless onboarding transition to all teams at Technium 


Onboarding / Offboarding of Clients 

  • Act as the primary resource for any device installation or removal not associated with a project implementation and verify its introduction to our tools and documentation system 
  • Review RMA changes and ensure they are updated in Netbox and Autotask 


  • Routinely review documentation systems to verify that the information is current and that the responsible engineers are held accountable for information inclusion  
  • Attend any required meetings (project or operations) that will be needed to facilitate good documentation hygiene  

Skills and Qualifications: 

  • Knowledge of Office365 including AD Services and Endpoint Manager 
  • Basic understanding of Linux 
  • Advanced skills in virtual technologies like Azure and AWS 
  • Knowledge of the Windows OS (client and server) 
  • Understanding of reporting/alerting systems, Logic Monitor preferred 
  • Understanding of ticketing systems, Autotask preferred 
  • Understanding of MFA technologies like Duo 



  • Comptia A+ and/or Network+ 
  • Microsoft 
  • Cisco (preferred)
