The materials they manufacture are produced for markets like consumer electronics, defense, and science, commercial aerospace, telecommunications infrastructure, medical, and energy. 1st shift is Monday-Friday 7:00 AM -3:30 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
2nd shift is Monday-Thursday, 10 hour shifts 3:00 PM - 1:00 AM. If you are looking for a traditional 8 hour shift 3:00 PM -11:30 PM may be available so give us a call.
As a Manufacturing Technician you will be producing optical filters essential in the fight to defeat COVID-19. Optical filters are a key component in the early detection of the COVID-19 virus. Candidates who have a positive attitude, are willing to learn and able to work overtime when needed, they’ll provide on-the-job training and an enjoyable work environment.
Working with Glass and plastic substrates, candidates will be trained to to perform in the areas of Polishing, automatic &/or manual indexing head coring, scribing, dicing, sawing, grinding & chamfering machines, or inspection.
They will perform a variety of manufacturing tasks according to our standard operating processes, which may include:
Operating equipment, with a keen eye on quality
Assembling product
Cleaning and inspecting product
Monitoring and recording essential data
Maintaining equipment and materials
Data entry into ERP system
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience required
Strong computer skills
Ability to work either first or second shift & overtime during week and on weekends, as needed
Ability to wear required PPE for work area - most work areas are semi-cleanroom settings that require donning of lab coats, hair nets, latex gloves
Temporary positions approximately 6 months in duration.
