Position Overview

The Regional Account Manager - LATAM and Caribbean will be crucial in expanding our footprint in these dynamic markets. This position goes beyond engaging with private and public schools; it involves high-level negotiations with ministries of education and NGOs focused on early childhood education. The role is pivotal in forging partnerships that amplify the reach and impact of our educational solutions across Latin America and the Caribbean.

Specific Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Develops comprehensive strategies to establish Teaching Strategies as a leader in early childhood education across Latin America and the Caribbean.
  • Cultivates and maintains relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including international and private schools, public education systems, and NGOs.
  • Spearheads high-level negotiations with ministries of education to promote the adoption of our curriculum and tools.
  • Presents at industry events, showcasing the benefits of our play-based curriculum and educational innovations.
  • Delivers impactful presentations to various audiences, adapting to the region's cultural diversity.
  • Demonstrates flexibility and responsiveness to evolving customer needs and market trends.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, with a proven track record.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to work autonomously.
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal abilities.
  • Deep passion for early childhood education and cultural diversity.
  • Background in early childhood education, familiarity with the Creative Curriculum and GOLD assessment preferred.
  • Experience in children's book publishing, ed-tech, or similar sectors.
  • Former preschool educators who have moved into business development or sales roles are highly valued.
