Staff Accountant Job Duties:
- Prepare and record monthly journal entries
- Perform account reconciliations
- Assist with preparing financial statements
- Assist with month end close
- Assist external auditors
- Maintain client relationships and frequent interactions
- Special projects, as assigned
Staff Accountant Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required
- 2+ years of professional core accounting experience
- Fund or investments accounting experience a plus
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills required
- Superb attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and excellent communications skills required
