Document Control Coordinator

$24-$27 per hour DOE 
M-F 40 Hours, 8am-5pm

Performs moderately complex Document Control activities related to Engineering Services including updating logs, databases and catalogues; maintains files of engineering drawings, project reports, specifications, product proposals and documentation, releases files thereof; Ensures documents meet standards for production.
  • Support the process contractual deliverables and related activities, maintaining an on-time delivery record.  The tasks include notifications to the stake holders, coordinate the delivery activities between internal and external data management systems, monitor the deliverable process, update and maintain CDRL and SDRL status reports. 
  • Processes non-deliverable data requests.
  • Maintain the program data environment, perform records management tasks in compliance with organizational records retention policies.
  • Manage accounts and permissions to the program data environment.
  • Provides data management support to Program Management and Engineering management activities and events.
  • Support the delivery of the Technical Data Package (TDP) and maintenance of the TDP elements. 
  • Support ISO, customer, quality and corporate audits.
  • Incorporate Engineering Change Orders (ECO’s) on all drawings, ensuring completeness according to Cobham and DoD workmanship standards.
  • Maintain the CDRL delivery matrix, identifying authors, approvers, reviewers, delivery schedule and frequency, stakeholder notification set-back information etc. 
  • Maintain CDRL supporting data, internal approval records, submission and acceptance records.
  • Prepares data management procedures and work instructions in support of the program data management plan.
  • Enter part numbers into the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system; release drawings to the Released Drawings Directory on the LAN; work with Drafters on data entry of their part lists; update and maintain ECO Matrix file; deliver all released ECO’s to drafting; ensure all released folders are up to date with current revision drawings and previous revision drawings are zipped; release all artwork, schematics, pads, cut files and weld files.
  • Assist Engineers, Drafters and other company staffing the incorporation of documents.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.
  • Five (5) years of related experience and detail oriented; High school diploma or GED required, Associate’s Degree preferred;
  • Communication skills: ask questions and rephrase statements to clarify meaning; ability to read technical publications such as blueprints and schematics; communicate across organizational levels;
  • Computer skills: moderate to advanced Microsoft office suite skills; Familiarity with SAP or equivalent ERP system; knowledge of AutoCAD.
