Sr Corporate Financial Planning Analyst

Austin, TX 78759 (Hybrid *Local Candidates only*)

Pay rate: $58hr ( Weekly pay)

12 month temp to turn permanent

They are seeking Sr Corporate FP&A Analyst with excellent accounting and financial analysis skills to support several Corporate FP&A activities including P&L forecasting, month end close analysis, board reporting and investor relations support. The Candidate will be expected to analyze financial information, identify trends, make recommendations, collect information and prepare reports for key business owners. They will be responsible for giving guidance to internal business partners by using their finance and accounting knowledge as well as utilizing the finance domain experts at their disposal. The ideal candidate should be familiar with areas such as USGAAP, forecasting and analysis, budgeting, and overall P&L management. Additionally, the candidate should be comfortable working in a cross-functional atmosphere, have a customer focused personality and be comfortable with working in a complex, fast-moving, multi-national company.

 

 

 

 

Position Responsibilities:

·         Facilitate monthly forecast process and consolidate company level forecast

·         Analyze monthly forecast and provide updates to the CFO and Finance leadership

·         Prepare monthly forecast review presentation and lead review with Finance leadership

·         Support month-end close process by preparing global incentive plan entry and various analysis

·         Prepare monthly financial board book

·         Prepare consensus and analyst compares analysis for CFO and Investor Relations

·         Prepare quarterly trend analysis and other financial data to support quarter-end activities

·         Ad hoc analysis as needed to support corporate finance

·         Promote customer service and a culture of continuous improvement and innovation

 

Requirements:

·         Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Math or Business Administration

·         5-10 years’ experience in Corporate Financial Planning Analyst

·         Must have experience owning the corporate forecasting

·         Requires excellent experience with monthly forecasting , which includes process and consolidate company level forecast, analyzing monthly forecast and preparing monthly forecast review presentations.

·         Excellent understanding of U.S. GAAP accounting

·         Must have experience with Excel and PowerPoint

·         Experience preparing consensus and analyst compares for CFO/ ability to summarize.

·         Must have experience interacting/communicating effectively your finds with CFO, VP's and upper management

·         Prior experience working with sensitive data and able to keep it secure

·         Must have experience managing budgets and forecasts

·         Experience to support month-end close

·         Strong internal customer focus

·         Self-motivated, able to work independently and as a part of a team

·         Detail-oriented, able to multitask and meet deadlines

·         Excellent organizational and communication skills
