Customer Order Processor (Remote)

Remote

$22-$32 hr (Based on location)

6 month contract (Great potential for extension or permanent)

M-F (Must work PST) 8am-4:30pm PST

Our client is a global team of innovators, leaders, creators, builders, and problem solvers. They develop state-of-the-art instruments and reagents for life science research laboratories and healthcare facilities all over the world. Together they are helping people everywhere live longer, healthier lives. They are looking for a Customer Service Specialist, experience with order processing.

The candidate would run an open order report for items that are on backorder from the previous day. Emails will be sent to the order contact using an email template providing the customer with the expected delivery date.

Reschedule items on backorder will require running another report. Emails using a template in outlook will be sent to those customers affected notifying them the item has been rescheduled and provide the updated delivery date. Once both reports are cleared, new and rescheduled, working in Esker CI will be continuous throughout the day. Categorizing customer inquiries received in the main customer service inbox will be the focus.

How You'll Make An Impact:

  • Notifications to customers regarding the backorder item(s) for orders processed provides up to date information.
  • Updated information regarding the delivery date on backordered items.
  • Categorizing customer inquiries to ensure the appropriate teams work on the customer request in a timely manner.

What You Bring:

  • 1-5yrs of Customer Service experience in order processing
  • Microsoft 365 – Outlook, Proficient in Excel – basic/intermediate level in Excel
  • Must have excellent experience keeping track of deliveries and orders.
  • Experience with responding to customer inquires in a timely manner
  • Notifications to customers regarding the backorder item(s) for orders processed provides up to date information.
  • Updated information regarding the delivery date on backordered items.
  • Categorizing customer inquiries to ensure the appropriate teams work on the customer request in a timely manner.
  • Pass background check
