We are looking for someone who can deliver the best customer service to the members and be a leader of the internal Tapout Fitness team. The brand has been rooted in Martial Arts and we have evolved the business into martial arts, group fitness and general fitness training, while staying committed to its brand essence of discipline, determination and motivation. Tapout Fitness is dedicated to inspiring the athlete in every individual and to support each team member.The Studio Manager will oversee the daily operations of the club and will also be the face to the members. We’re looking for a committed sales leader to help bring in new members and retain current members using key marketing tools provided by Tapout Fitness. The Studio Manager will also be responsible for the employees of the club, from overseeing the class schedule to making sure each employee exemplifies Tapout Fitness values.Job Responsibilities
Know the ins and outs of the company and how we operate.
Gain new business through member promotion, referrals, and the use of guest passes.
Create relationships with potential, new, and current members so that they feel at home at Tapout Fitness.
Resolve any member concerns or complaints in a professional manner.
Oversee club facilities for appearance and equipment issues and resolve or escalate issues that detract from the member experience.
Ensure that all retail is displayed correctly and that all prices are correct on the merchandise and in the system.
Implement all operational procedures in the club and follow-up with compliance checks by monitoring club systems and employee performance.
Create employee and class schedule based on employee availability.
High School Diploma or GED Required.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certification required.
1-2 years in Customer Service or in Operations.
Prior management experience in retail/hospitality industry.
