This is a full-time role, 3:00-11:00 PM, and we reward hard work and dedication. Job Responsibilities:
- Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Anticipate guests needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day.
- Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
- Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Obtain assigned bank and ensure accuracy of contracted monies.
- Process all guest check-ins & check-outs.
- Verify registration card information with the guest.
- Obtain back-up information for guest credit/payment method and input into system; collect cash when designated.
- Direct Bell Person to escort guest and transport their luggage to the room.
- Handle overbooked or walked in guests.
- Accept and record wake-up call requests.
- Monitor, send and distribute guest faxes.
- Communicate pertinent guest information to designated departments/personnel (i.e., special requests, amenity delivery).
- Resolve discrepancies on the room status report with Housekeeping.
- Match the bucket check to in-house guest ledger report, report discrepancies to Manager.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1-year front office or guest service experience in hotel.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Stay calm under pressure and adapt to quickly changing hotel and customer needs.
- Ability to work swing shift, 3:00-11:00 PM.
- Moderate to advanced computer skills.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Exceptional Customer Service skills in person and over the phone.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent phone skills.
- Organized and detail-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently with little supervision.
