TalentRemedy has partnered with this growing non-profit in the Maryland and Virginia areas that supports families as they work to build a nurturing, inspiring, and empowering environment as children, teens, and families face unique challenges in adoption and foster communities. Providing clinical services, adoption competency initiatives, and education resources this role will perform diagnostics interviews, and evaluate patients referred by C.A.S.E. therapist. The Psychiatrist will also provide diagnosis, medication and recommendation for inpatient or outpatient treatment. This position requires a great deal of organizational, documentation and relational skills to ensure a good working relationship with clients and the C.A.S.E. clinical treatment team.
This part-time position will be spending their time split between Annandale, VA and Burtonsville, MD with opportunities for 403b benefits and prorated leave benefits. The position may also be required to attend specific agency functions in the evening and/or on weekends.
Minimum Qualifications, education and experience
·A qualified doctor with specialization in psychiatry.
·Must be a board-certified psychiatrist.
·Experience working with families of children and adolescents.
·Active MD and VA medical license
·Minimum of 2 years working in an out-patient environment
