The Operations and Client Servicing Specialist will assist one financial advisor and the Director of Operations. Prior experience in the financial services industry and/or insurance industry is ideal. Our team is growing, cohesive, fast-paced, and professional. You are full of energy, hard-working, and resourceful--given some direction, you can run with a project and facilitate finding the answers yourself. You enjoy filling out forms thoroughly and accurately and organizing papers and projects. You are sharp, tenacious when it comes to follow-through, and details rarely slip through your grasp. Your natural tendency is to be constantly looking for better ways to do things, grow, improve, and you welcome constructive feedback. You have strong analytical, problem solving, and written / verbal communication skills. You have strong attention to detail with the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy. You know how to juggle the calendar, handle meeting logistics, and are a prioritization master. You can work with a variety of personalities with ease. You love talking to clients and being a part of helping them achieve their goals.


The responsibility of the Client Service Specialist is to assist financial representatives with New Business by pre-checking, inputting, and expediting applications while following acceptable New Business procedures. Specific responsibilities include but will not be limited to:

  • Pre-check all applications for completeness and accuracy; return to a financial representative if corrections or deletions are needed.
  • Input all new applications, conversions, and changes in the Application Input System.
  • Help Financial Representative and Director of Operations expedite the underwriting process, follow up on all requirements.
  • Maintain policy delivery requirements.

This position will also work as a direct assistant to the Director of Operations / Office Manager, to include the following Specific administrative responsibilities include but will not be limited to:

  • Greet and prepare for clients coming into the office
  • Answer, take messages, and screen all telephone calls
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail; deliver outgoing mail
  • Maintain the office/reception area
  • Maintain inventory and order office supplies as needed
  • Complete and/or assist with projects as assigned by the Office Manager
  • Cross-train as support for the Office Manager
