Senior Analyst Finance Operations - Cost Accounting, CPA or MBA

Partners and provides general accounting and financial reporting support to key operational leaders.
Coordinates and participates in the annual budget and quarterly forecasting processes.
Consolidates various monthly results & provides detailed explanations and analysis on key drivers vs. budget and forecast on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Performs month end duties necessary for closing the books (Books necessary journal entries/accruals)
Performs balance sheet reconciliations for assigned accounts.
Supports the site in capital & and cost savings financial modeling
Communicates clearly with the finance and operations team on the plant's performance.
Applies expertise to solve standard and non-standard problems within own area.
Demonstrates understanding of source documentation, research variances, and proposes corrections.
Makes decisions, often difficult and/or unpopular, by carefully weighing pros and cons and acting in accordance with GAAP.
Leverages customer knowledge to develop alternative solutions and shares key learning's with others.
Participate in various team related activities to ensure proper SOX controls and compliance with Company policies.
Acts as leader in the cost accounting group and provides guidance and training to junior staff.
Completes Inventory Reporting Metrics
Setting Annual Manufacturing Standard Costs along with analysis of these items.
Lead process improvement project
Ability to work with minimal guidance once established in role.
Performs other related duties and assignments as required.

Minimum B.S. degree in Accounting or Finance required.
Cost Accounting experience strongly preferred
Minimum 2+ years of relevant FP&A and Accounting working experience (journal entries, month end close, general ledger, financial planning, business analytics) required, preferably in a manufacturing industry
Professional experience in large global multi-segment business, preferably manufacturing or public accounting.
CPA / MBA or working towards qualification is desirable.
Candidate should be well organized and possess good analytical and communication skills
Candidate must be proficient working with Microsoft Excel and reasonably proficient with other common applications such as MS Word and MS PowerPoint
Working knowledge of SAP & BPC is desirable.
Self-driven, proactive and seeks continuous improvement.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, environment with strong attention to detail.
