Our client, located in Arkansas and Tennessee, is a single-source, full-service systems integration company delivering dependable material handling systems, software and post-sale support since 2002. They are looking to add a Controls Specialist to their team in either AR or TN.
Within this role, you will Support Services and provide first-line technical support both to customers and the company's service and engineering departments, remotely and on-site when needed.
Participate as needed with on-site qualification and system commissioning.
Critical thinking with exceptional problem-solving skills, able to work independently and in team environments.
Research and discovery of legacy installations that require an obsolescence planning strategy.
Ability to balance multiple projects and responsibilities.
Provide On-Site Training to clients and support personnel.
Provide remote support as needed.
Participate in emergency service as needed.
Proactive, resourceful, highly motivated with good communication skills
Experience with control software platforms, industrial robotics, pneumatics, and vision systems would be preferred.
Must demonstrate a high level of professionalism with exceptional attention to detail.
Travel requirement: 50%
Proficient in Allen Bradley control software platforms and AutoCAD Electrical Schematic software
Able to read and interpret ladder logic diagrams.
Ability to navigate and adjust control systems and PLCs and make repairs to production equipment.
Associate Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school OR six months to one-year equivalent combination of job-related experience and/or training.
