POSITION OVERVIEW
In the Business and Quality Analyst role, the analyst will work with business operation areas and development teams, providing technical leadership, business and data analysis, software requirements management, software testing, and business process engineering.
RESPONSIBILITIES
•
Defining and documenting business requirements for approved project requests
•
Evaluating and documenting business processes
•
Developing the business and functional requirements to ensure technical solutions meet the growing needs of the organization
•
Writing, reviewing, and editing requirements, specifications, business processes, and recommendations related to proposed solutions
•
Managing the requirements to ensure it works through the system development life cycle
•
Responsible for designing and performing formal system testing, managing quality assurance testing, and conducting training of application corrections, enhancements, and upgrades to validate that software modifications accomplish the intended result and to verify that software modifications satisfy the identified requirements.
•
Conduct system testing following developed test procedures to validate that software modifications accomplish the intended result and verify that software modifications satisfy the identified requirements.

Participating in requirements definition and system design walkthroughs
•
Defining and documenting system rules and configuration changes for test environments
•
Identifying issues during testing
•
Creating and executing test plans
•
Facilitating meetings, workshops, program diagramming sessions, and requirement review walkthroughs
•
Working to develop methodology and discipline across the business analysis and quality assurance practices
•
Conduct user training on implemented tools and systems
•
Assist with developing and documenting best practices and standard operating procedures
•
Assist with project management for special company projects
REQUIREMENTS
•
Experience collaborating and partner with both business and technology project team members to work together towards a shared vision
•
Strong communication skills to share user story acceptance criteria and test case results with technology-focused team members
•
Always looking for ways to improve and help others to do the same
•
High level of curiosity and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
•
Be a quick learner who can ask the right questions to build an understanding of what our clients need
•
5+ years of experience in Information Technology
