HR Manager/Start Up Facility

TRC Professional Solutions seeks a HR Manager for a full time role with a start-up manufacturing facility in Cartersville, GA. Ideal candidate will have at least seven years' experience and experience developing new HR processes or policies. Must be hands-on HR leader as this is a new manufacturing site.
Analyzes wage and salary reports and recommends a competitive compensation plan
Creates, advises, and maintains company policy, compensation structure and employee benefits
Develops and maintains reports on KPI s required by management team and top executives
Ensures company policies and procedures comply with local and state law; Recommends changes as necessary to maintain compliance now and in the future
Implements Workforce management software; During start-up will be required to evaluate and help select
Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting comply with local law. Studies legislation, arbitration decisions, and collective bargaining contracts to assess industry trends
Recruits, interviews, tests, and selects employees to fill vacant positions in collaboration with management and immediate supervisors
Keeps records of benefits plans participation such as insurance and pension plan, personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations, and employee statistics for government reporting.
Develops training programs for hourly and salary employees to ensure compliance with any state or local regulations
Keeps and maintains all employee records including: Job position, promotions, terminations, transfers, and performance reviews
Ensure and promote good employee relationships by being available for questions and concerns; Recommends improvements to management team based on employee feedback
Actively finds creative ways to improve employee turn-over, reduce absenteeism and improve employee morale
Conduct employee orientation and on-boarding

Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Bachelor s Degree from four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience
5+ years of relevant experience in start up of manufacturing facility
Must be able to read, write and communicate using English language.
Experience developing HR policies or procedures
Able to create policy and procedures without utilizing or relying on any previous work for assistance
Ability to multi-task required.
Must be self-motivated
PHR or SPHR certification or willingness to obtain
This is not a climate-controlled environment. The job is subject to high heat from equipment and surrounding climate. Offices are air conditioned
