Job Description

Reporting to the Manager, Compliance Training & Accreditation, the Compliance Training & Curriculum Development Specialist will provide support to TRACE members assisting with the implementation of TRACE course customizations and development requests. An integral member of the TRACE Compliance Training team, the ideal candidate for this role will possess experience in or have a background in education, course building or content development, be multi-lingual, tech savvy, a quick learner, detail-oriented and welcome the challenge of working in an ever-evolving compliance and eLearning landscape. The Specialist will have knowledge of the Articulate Authoring tool – namely Storyline and Rise. The Specialist will also be responsible for providing customer service and general training support role to TRACE members.

 

This position requires one year of experience in content and course building, including manipulation of “out-of-the-box” courses to creating custom content as a whole. The Specialist will be comfortable managing several projects simultaneously possess strong communication, project management and customer service skills, welcome a changing pace and subscribe to TRACE’s commitment to excellence and the highest standards of service both internally and externally.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Oversee the implementation of TRACE course customizations and development – including both course improvements as well as “from scratch” course developments

  • Maintain and update TRACE courses per member requests as well as to ensure relevance given evolving regulations

  • Knowledge of the Articulate authoring tool – namely Storyline and Rise

  • Assist with the testing and launch of TRACE and custom member courses within a Learning Management System (LMS)

  • Prepare custom training courses for members upon request

  • Work in collaboration and partnership with other team members and internal departments

  • Provide additional compliance training support to TRACE members as required

  • Additional job-related projects as assigned by management

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education with background in E-Learning, Compliance Training, Professional Curriculum Design, or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Experience in Corporate Compliance Training setting required

  • Excellent communication and customer interface skills

  • Collaborator, team player, and solution-oriented
