Job Description

California based commercial real estate and property management firm is looking to add a Regional Manager/Director of Property Management to their growing firm. The position will be based out of the San Diego area, but may travel to other Southern California locations as needed. Company specializes in the office field, working both third-party and Owner/Manager properties. Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing Operations of the San Diego portfolio
  • Mentoring a Property Manager and Senior Manager, and working to develop additional leaders as the company grows
  • Reviewing and Revising existing policies and procedures
  • Developing strategies and implementation plans through each team
  • If new product is acquired, coordinate with both Leasing and Property management to determine steps in process to integrate new team
  • Providing back up support to Managers
  • Reviewing financial reporting and evaluating performance
  • Reviewing budgets/variances
  • Determining CapEx projects and providing guidelines for full process
  • Managing property tours
  • Communicating with Executive team to provide portfolio reporting
  • Working with Property Managers for guidance with CAM's and reconciliations
  • Managing Leasing ad Lease changes
  • Working with Real Estate Managers of larger tenants
  • Interfacing with leasing team and reviewing questions
  • Ensuring systems are followed with each team, addresses any potential changes/improvements
  • Providing guidance and leadership to team

  • Ability to pull apart information and strategically plan

Must Have:

  • Proven history of experience in property management
  • Strong operations experience
  • 8+ years of commercial Property Management experience, 2+ years of Operations Management
  • Yardi and MRI experience a plus, solid MS Office
