Executive Chef – TOCA Social US

Reports To: SVP, TOCA Social US (Short-Term) Director of F&B, TOCA Social US (Long-Term)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Before the first venue opens, be able to work in the TOCA Social US Home Office assisting with user testing and F&B R&D
  • Work with culinary leadership in the UK to create, maintain and execute the TOCA Social F&B menu, specials, and culinary experience
  • Train, support, develop and manage the kitchen staff
  • Supervise and coordinate all related culinary activities in-venue
  • Estimate food consumption, monitor inventory (including purchasing product as needed)
  • Work with GM and Director of Operations to maintain food and labor costs according to budget
  • Select and develop recipes, standardize production recipes and ensure consistent quality and presentation
  • Work cross-functionally to help plan and price menu items and LTOs
  • Ensure proper kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
  • Ensure proper safety and sanitation in kitchen
  • Directly supervise kitchen personnel – hiring, discipline (if needed), performance reviews and pay increases
  • Ensure the highest possible quality of guest experience through F&B

Key Qualifications

  • 8-10+ years in F&B or culinary management with experience developing a culinary team
  • HS diploma or related culinary degree preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods of time
