Job Description

TLC, The Treatment and Learning Centers, in Rockville, MD is looking for an On-Call Receptionist who will be responsible for answering multi-line phones, greeting guests, processing payments and helping with various administrative projects as needed. Working Hours are between 8 AM - 7:30 PM, M-F and Saturdays 8 AM - 2 PM, but there are no scheduled hours as this position is AS NEEDED ONLY.


Education and Experience Requirements for the On-Call Receptionist:

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required
  • Experience with customer service and must be service oriented
  • Basic computer operations (including Outlook, MS Word and the Internet)
  • Receptionist duties experience preferred and the ability to interact with a variety of people
  • Problem solving, organization and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

As a condition of employment, all new hires are required to have received at least the first dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or the single dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. New hires must receive any additional vaccine doses in the appropriate timeframes to be considered fully vaccinated and submit weekly test results until they are fully vaccinated. Requests for religious or medical exemptions will be reviewed and evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
