Surgical Technologist assists nursing staff with patient care in the surgical suite within the limits described in their job description. Always works under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. Assists surgical team during operative procedures. Arranges and inventories sterile set-up for operation, and passes items as needed to operating team. Assists in preparing and moving patients, and in cleaning the OR theater.
