Senior Back End Developer

Must work onsite in NYC 1-2x/MONTH

Our Fortune 100 client is hiring a Senior Software Engineer, to be an integral part of a growing team, while working closely with the engineering manager. This is a vast opportunity for career growth!

You will work heavily in back-end AWS/Node and some Nginx.

What we are looking for:

• Ability to analyze, design, develop, and deploy web apps and microservices hosted within AWS Cloud Infrastructure
• Strong JavaScript experience building backend NodeJS micro-services (TypeScript a plus)
• Confident with Nginx and app servers (Open Resty & Lua is a plus)
• Familiarity with Computer Networks (DNS, routing, firewalls)
• Familiarity with OSI stack
• Comfortable with Unit Testing and Integration Testing and Best Practices
• Experience with RDMS & KV stores
• Experience working in AWS.
• Experience building robust and easy-to-consume RESTful APIs
