Basic Function

Answer incoming calls while servicing client banks and cardholders with their credit card needs

Major Duties / Accountabilities

  • Answer incoming calls from both English and Spanish speaking cardholders and client banks with inquiries on their credit card accounts
  • Process incoming mail received regarding cardholder accounts
  • Problem solving and resolution for banks and cardholders
  • Bank and cardholder research reports and statements on microfiche/CD-ROMs
  • Provide interface between banks and FDR
  • Process bankruptcies
  • Take lost and/or stolen credit card reports

Requirements / Desired Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1 year of bankcard/customer service experience in a call center environment preferred
  • Basic accounting experience
  • Typing skills (40 wpm) preferred
  • 10-key by touch skills
  • Must be flexible to adapt quickly to the needs of the department and facility
  • Regular and punctual attendance is required
  • Individual should possess good interpersonal skills and be able to work within and foster a team environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and across all levels
  • Software: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint); FDR
