THOR Solutions is seeking an experienced Project Scheduler to work with the NIWC Pacific project portfolio team in San Diego, CA, to develop and manage individual project schedules, and to intelligently incorporate these into an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS). The ideal candidate will have at least 3 to 5 years of project scheduling/management experience in a DOD or DHS environment. Additional preference given to those with experience generating and briefing data analytics and project SITREPs to Branch, Division and Executive level personnel.

The candidate's responsibilities may include (but are not limited to) performing or supporting the following actions:
- Set-up and maintain schedule standards operating procedures development, Monte Carlo performance; and resource leveling and loading
- Review any scheduling issues with team and determine necessary modifications, re-sequencing schedules when conflicts arise
- Facilitate collaborative planning sessions with project team, pre-construction, subcontractors, and stakeholders to get input for sequencing, manpower and durations, as it relates to overall project milestones
- Create visual references / diagrams / graphics using schedule data to further describe the project plan, status, and upcoming scopes of work
- Create variance reports, graphics, and narratives to highlight issues or conflicts
- Assess impact of design/construction changes and communicate the issues with project owners, executives and staff
- Analyze acceleration options and recommend the best cost, lowest risk option
- Train project staff on scheduling techniques/software as needed
Security Clearance Requirements:
- Must already possess an active SECRET security clearance, or qualify for a new SECRET clearance upon hire. Must maintain it for the duration of employment.
Required Education, Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, business management, data analytics, or a similar field.
- In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, DAWIA Business Finance Manager (BFM) or Program Management (PM) certifications in conjunction with other qualifying experience may be considered.
- At least three (3) to five (5) years of recent, relevant project scheduling/management experience in a DOD, DHS, or similar environment.
- An ideal candidate's experience will include:
- Generating and briefing data analytics and project SITREPs to Branch, Division and Executive level personnel.
- Knowledge of engineering practices and test & evaluation principals.
- An ideal candidate's experience will include:
- Working proficiency in MS Project or Oracle Primavera.
- Basic proficiency with common productivity software including Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Target Pay Scale:
- $31.25 - $36.06/hour
