Forklift Technician |Pay - $20 - $30 | 8am-430pm or 7:30am-4pm| FT| TEMP TO HIRE

We are hiring for Field technicians, shop technicians and parts manager

As a forklift technician you will work with a variety of different customers assisting them in diagnostics, troubleshooting and maintenance of there industrial equipment.

What you will do as the forklift Technician:

• Repair gasoline, LPG, electric or diesel powered forklifts
• Make repairs as needed including replacing worn or broken parts, adjusting brakes, tightening body bolts, aligning wheels, etc.
• Lubricate vehicle and perform other duties in connection with maintenance and operation of lift truck as required including preventative maintenance.
• Can include manual labor such as heavy lifting and operating power equipment -
• Complete paperwork, as needed, to open work order / close work order

What the forklift Technician will need to have:

• Good knowledge of parts and the ability to determine if a part needs to be replaced or repaired is essential
• HSD or GED - 1+ years of hands on mechanical experience -
• Good driving record
• Ability to communicate with customers both in-house and in the field
• knowledge of general material handling equipment
• Will be expected to drive (company van/gas provided) to customer sites.
• Sites vary over the general area
• Own your own tools
• Customer service attitude and aptitude - good attendance and punctuality a must

Physical Requirements: Must be able to physically operate power machinery, use hand tools, use air compressor tools, band saw and department grinder, steam cleaner and parts washer machines, Must be able to physically lift 50 pounds unaided - Must be physically able to operate / drive a company van or Hino.

FT - Reno, NV - Temp to hire - Pay varies depending on experience $20-$30
