HR Assistant

Job Description

Title: Human Resources AssistantDepartment: Human ResourcesPURPOSE:Responsible for performing a variety of human resource support duties. Assist in maintaining the human resource database and all worker records and files.

Handle payroll processing and track and report payroll information.

Complete assigned reporting functions involving attendance statistics, termination, hire and transfer data, and other information assigned. Provide recommendations regarding the development and administration of human resource policies and programs.

Assist in informing new workers of human resource policies and programs as needed. Perform general office support functions and assists area personnel as necessary.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for effectively recording, maintaining, and reporting human resource information in a confidential manner.

• Track and resolve problems and check system operations as scheduled.

• Ensure that human resource files and records are maintained in accordance with legal requirements and Company policies and procedures.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Education/ Certifications:

• Associates Degree• Training in Human Resources Management preferred or equivalent field experience.

Experience: • 1-2 years of related

experience Knowledge:

• Basic understanding of human resource functions.• Knowledge of all related computer applications.• Understanding of human resource reporting and recordkeeping
