Access Control Analyst

Summary:

TEKsystems is supporting a local fortune 500 company that is seeking to hire an Access Control Analyst. This person will be working more as a level one help desk technician with on-boarding responsibilities. This person will also be helping new employees set up their workstations, as well as helping them connect with the right people to solve their technical issues. With that being said, this person needs to have a great personality and needs to be easy going and friendly. This person will coordinate with different groups of people so strong customer service skills are required for interested applicants.

The Access Control Analyst will be responsible for providing access to enterprise applications and systems to all (Client) users within agreed service levels.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years working in an Help desk/Access Management role
  • Great customer service skills
  • Ability to create file shares and permission on servers
  • Microsoft Exchange Server experience
  • Visionary that can develop strategies for future IAM capabilities and implement innovative solutions that drive business value
  • Must be flexible and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities on very tight deadlines.
  • Be a self-motivated and results oriented individual with an attention to driving time lines and schedules
  • Ability to work independently and in collaboration with others to achieve a high level of success
  • Willing to develop, maintain and foster constructive relationships with others
  • Dynamic, hard-working and ambitious individual, with excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask, have attention to detail and advanced analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Extensive experience general Information Technology experience required.
  • Ability to work well within small team focused on rapid delivery of results
  • General knowledge of information security, including network security, infrastructure security, application security, compliance frameworks, and other regulatory requirements such as SOX and PCI

*ServiceNow is a major plus as they just went live at (Client) last month

Duties and accountabilities:

  • Provide support in on-boarding tasks and resolving issues
  • Complete access requests as pre-defined sets of procedure
  • Document access management procedures for assigned platforms, databases and applications; keep the access management procedures up-to-date
  • Proactively identify audit and compliance access related issues to reduce the risk of security exposures on the support systems and applications
  • Work with team members to identify and develop solutions to streamline and automate existing manual processes
  • Flexibility to work adjusted hours with Enterprise Team members as needed for training, knowledge transfer and support coverage

Schedule:

  • Monday - Friday | 8am - 5pm
  • 6 month contract - with probable extension | This position could evolve into a full blown access control type of role but for the time being they just need someone to help with on-boarding tasks and access.

Pay rate:

  • $17 per hour
