The Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) is accountable for setting and executing on the company’s overall sales activities and strategy. This position works closely with members of the executive team and sales employees to identify, develop and implement an effective sales strategy. The CRO will have ultimate accountability in aligning and building strategic partnerships with their cross-functional expertise.


What You'll Do:


  • Provides strategic and operational direction to the business development organization to maximize sales revenues and meet organizational objectives
  • Ensures sales goals and forecasts are consistent with the organization’s long range strategic goals
  • Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume, and other key financial performance objectives
  • Prioritize marketing efforts to support the short and long term needs of the sales organization
  • Designs and executes the go-to-market strategy for products and pricing
  • Monitors the revenue pipeline and leads, adjusting as necessary to create sustainable growth
  • Develop and implement robust sales management processes – pipeline, account planning and proposals
  • Analyze current and emerging competitors and industry trends
  • Negotiates contracts with relevant parties to ensure business interests are protected and revenue/profit is maximized
  • Stay well connected with customers to ensure broad market needs are being incorporated into product development and enhancement cycles


What You Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 15 years sales experience within life sciences industry
  • Proven expertise in sales strategy planning and execution and growing revenue through new product development, marketing, branding and partnerships
  • Ability to craft and execute a business strategy
  • Experience participating in board meeting and presenting the sales strategy along with industry trends
