Training/Coaching multiple scrum teams on agile processes/terminologies/approach
Working with & supporting the team in achieving their projects business goals (i.e., not to create the perfect process)
Co-planning & facilitating key meetings
Consulting with team members and analyzing data to recommend and implement improvements
Advising management of significant and potentially risky deviations from Agile standard practices
Collecting best practices to use across the organization
Measuring agile fluency at multiple stages through the coaching engagement and using these metrics to drive further progress
Teams will be based out of multiple locations in the US (Philadelphia, Charlottesville) and India.
Assesses the agile fluency of teams (quantitative & qualitative) and provides a roadmap for improvement.
Identifies metrics that can be used at multiple levels (Team, Project, Program, Portfolio) to gauge agile fluency & effectiveness of agile processes in place.
At least 5 years leading Agile teams, e.g. as a Scrum master or Tech Lead
At least 3 years as an Agile coach
o Have led workshops for at least 100 people
o Have led face-to-face training for small groups for 30+ groups
o Have coached 4+ teams at one time
o Have worked with geographically distributed teams
o Demonstratable examples of improvements and results for teams
Familiarity with JIRA, its workflows and metrics.
o Used JIRA in past 1 year as a coach
o Used JIRA for at least 3 years as a coach
Experience with multiple agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe etc)
Preferred professional certifications in these areas (Scrum/SAFe etc)
Measurable impact in predictability, productivity and quality.
Communications: Clear & concise, good listening and observation skills
Ability and desire to be adaptive and practical depending on the problems and situations, and continue to learn
Expertise with metrics to track testing coverage, automation, value delivered and program level release metrics.
