Lead Systems Engineer

Summary

T2S Solutions, LLC, a veteran owned small business, currently has an opening for a Lead Systems Engineer to join our team in Huntsville, Alabama.

Duties & Responsibilities

+ Direct report to the APNT-CFT Chief Engineer for Tactical Space Systems

+ Provide technical leadership in the development and oversight of requirements, specifications, key performance parameters, system verification plans, project milestone schedules, and technology roadmaps in support of emerging and future US Army space-based tactical Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance capabilities

+ Serve as space systems subject matter expert for Integrated Product Teams, Working Groups, and Technical Interchange Meetings to include other US Army and Joint mission partners

+ Coordinate with other US Army elements, such as Sensor-to-Shooter IPT, Long-Range Precision Fires CFT, and Army Capabilities Manager for Space and High Altitude for the planning and conduct of analyses and modeling and simulation studies to support space systems requirements development, approval, testing, and verification

+ Provide technical or programmatic briefings related to requirements, technical or programmatic risks, or performance verification of space systems to APNT-CFT Leadership

+ Develop effective strategies to ensure successful technology implementation

+ Participate in the development of Multi-INT fusion techniques and corresponding edge processing required to fuse disparate data streams (military and commercial) to support automated identification and geolocation of threats at tactically relevant timelines

Qualifications & Skills

+ Active DoD Security Clearance Required

+ Expertise in spacecraft engineering, low earth orbit spacecraft constellations, space-based visible, infrared, or RADAR imaging payloads, inter-satellite laser communications systems, RADAR signal processing, SIGINT signal processing, ground-based mission data processing, spacecraft on-board processing, virtual spacecraft mission operations, US Army and Joint DoD Command and Control systems, MIL-STD-1540/SMC-S-016 verification standards, and military grid reference system.

+ B.S. degree (minimum) or M.S. (preferred) in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field.

+ 10 years (minimum) or 15 years (preferred) of experience in the development, operation, and/or exploitation of space vehicles, space-based optical, RADAR, or SIGINT
