T-D Hospitality is looking for a Chef de Cuisine to join our team. We are looking for a qualified individual to work with national award-winning chef Evan Hennessey to elevate casual food using a high level of technique, creativity and connection to local farms. We are looking to the change a current kitchen into a “scratch kitchen” and would prefer someone who has fine dining experience, and experience in executing menu changes seasonally. The ability to self-motivate, assist in conceptualizing new dishes, love for seasonal ingredients, and ability to work with a small and closely knit team is paramount. Job duties include, but are not limited to; food costing, prep listing and execution, running service while expediting and cooking, maintaining high sanitation levels, and meetings with Evan to maintain food quality and facilitate menu changes. This individual will manage the kitchen, with a staff, according to the policies set forth by the owner, general manager, and the chef. This position comes with opportunity for growth.
-Complete understanding of managing and maintaining a “from scratch kitchen.”
-Ability to work within, and foster, a team atmosphere
-Must be precise, detail-oriented, and have developed technical skills.
-Experiment, test, update, organize, and manage new and existing recipes.
-At least two years combined in fine dining restaurants.
-Culinary degree is a plus, but not required.
