Provides support to the Department of Defense Chief Information Officer (DoD CIO) as s subject matter expert (SME) for Mobility policy, standards, and architectures as well as interoperability with international partners and first responders
Responsibilities and Duties
Performs research and analysis on cutting edge mobile communications and provides recommendations to the DoD CIO government leads - Assists the Department of Defense in its migration to 5g capabilities - Drafts policy and architectures to optimize mobile communications capability and security - Prepares presentations and participates in national-level and international conferences - Coordinates DoD 5G policy, architectures with other US Federal Government Departments/Agencies
Qualifications and Skills
Required knowledge and years of experience
15 Years experience
Knowledge of 4G, 5G, and LTE communications; Strong Speaking and Writing Skills; knowledge of DoD processes and organizations; Microsoft Office/Project skills
BS in IT Discipline (Masters preferred)
TS/SCI Clearance Required
