Job Summary:

We are seeking a Project Manager to work with our software development teams in a complex enterprise software development environment. As the Project Manager, you will be empowered to support an experienced team of software developers. The position manages the health of the project through monitoring project budget and delivery management, setting expectations with the client, and facilitating effective communication between all stakeholders of the project. In addition, you will help support the team through Agile best practices, working to solve problems and to drive continuous improvement and business owner satisfaction.

  • Supports and facilitates the project teams in various functions by fostering Agile values and project management practices.
  • Ensures team adherence to project management principles, project deliverables, and scheduled timelines.
  • Documents project deliverables and assists in defining statements of work.
  • Collects and tracks project metrics to include project financials, estimates, schedules,
  • Acts as a role model for servant leadership.
  • Organizes and facilitates team ceremonies, identifies improvement opportunities to optimize velocity and quality while mitigating risk.
  • Track and routinely communicate team progress, providing visibility to internal and external stakeholders (sprint demos, sprint planning, etc.)
  • Serve as a filter to remove impediments to progress as identified by the team,
    protect the team from outside influences to ensure the team remains focused on team priorities.
  • Partner with the product owner to ensure the backlog items are prioritized based on business value and ready for the teams.
  • Facilitate team for better creativity, drive innovation, and improve the efficiency of the development teams
  • Arrange daily stand-up meetings, facilitate/schedule client meetings, demo and decision-making processes in order to ensure quick inspection and proper use of adaptation process, matrix reporting, provide coaching/feedback to ensure team success.
  • Foster open communication and transparency through building trust within teams and across its members.

  • Project Management Certification preferred.
  • 3+ years of Project Management experience with in-depth knowledge of delivering IT solutions to customers.
  • 3+ years of experience working in Agile teams to multiple distributed teams in large-scale enterprise change projects and programs.
  • Have experience in a full software development lifecycle and SOA environment, with exposure to a wide array of technologies, including development languages and testing tools.
  • Familiarity with modern software engineering techniques such as continuous integration, build, deliver, test-driven development and other automated acceptance testing techniques.
  • Experience managing project financials and metrics.
  • Domain experience with delivering SaaS products and/or security/operational analytics.
  • Bachelor's degree or combination of relevant education and experience
  • Highly collaborative, excellent interpersonal skills and able to work with diverse personality types
  • Continuous coaching of the team and stakeholders around the team to realize their highest potential.
  • Management of sprint team data using JIRA or Azure DevOps.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills with team members and customers
  • Ability to influence at all levels without straight line authority.
  • Ability to work effectively in a rapidly changing, fluid and dynamic environment
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple initiatives and engender calm in the face of chaos
  • Ability to direct, listen, collaborate with highly talented people distributed geographically across the time zones
