Job Description
Title: Senior Research Associate
Location: Piscataway, NJ
Schedule: Monday - Friday, part time (good for candidates going for MS Degrees)
Type: Contract with extension
Start date: ASAP

Responsibilities:
- The successful applicant will perform in vivo pharmacology and pharmacokinetic studies that are critical to develop novel therapies that will benefit patients in need.
- Perform pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic studies in rodents.
- Administer therapeutic agents through different routes (including intraperitoneal, intravenous, and oral).
- Perform blood and tissue collections.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal guidelines concerning the use of animals in research.
- Collaborate closely with other scientists, University staff, and corporate study PIs.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 3+ years of direct experience conducting in vivo studies required.
- Extensive experience in standard rodent dosing techniques, including PO, IV, and IP required.
- Comprehensive experience in standard fluid collection techniques, including tail vein and saphenous vein required.
- Hands-on tissue collection and animal necropsy experience required.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Must be able to work in a dynamic team environment
- Ability to multi-task, handle multiple projects at one time.
- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail, clarity, accuracy and conciseness.
