Junior Project Manager w/ Renewable Energy

Junior Project Manager / Renewable Energy - Astoria Queens, NY 
** Payrate is commensurate with 1-5 years of experience **

System One has a temp to hire employment conversion opportunity for a Junior level Project Manager with exposure to renewable energy. The Junior Project Manager will learn and grow with a utility company working on renewal energy projects. 

Important

1. Temp to hire after satisfying a minimum of 520 hours on System One payroll
2. United States Citizen or Perm Resident only need apply
3. Local only / no relocation 
4. Will complete all System One and Client onboarding requirements
5. Must be fully vaccinated to work in client office
6. Work Hours: 7:30am-4pm

The Junior PM will be required to have the following education / experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering required
• 1-5 years of experience in project management or a similar role with renewal energy experience
• Experience using UNIFIER software is a plus ( Client will train )
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

The Junior PM Responsibilities:

• Communicate with the Project Manager regarding project needs and goals
• Monitor project progress
• Follow up with PM and client regarding the completion or delay of project phases
• Support the coordination and management of projects.
• Review meeting minutes and follow up on action items
• Performing administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, create and maintain spreadsheets, etc.
• Maintain project documents and reports
• Complete any tasks assigned by the Project Manager in an efficient and timely manner
• Will be required to work from the client location in Astoria/Queens, NY
