DevOps Developer

DevOps Engineer Hybrid role- Frederick, MD 2-3 days onsite US Citizenship is required Security+ Is required

Provide DevOps support on a large program providing IT Operations support for a globally distributed legacy system, cloud-based modernized replacement system, phase-in/phase-out support from legacy to replacement server as custom developed application package/installer development/support.

General Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation of documentation required to sustain development support of legacy DMLSS application as well as DML-ES systems.

Collaborate with other contractors, to include other Defense Health Agency (DHA) contractors, in a typical cross-functional IPT approach providing operational support to correct software coding deficiencies.

Work closely with the other members for the DevOps teams working on several different projects like LogiCole, DMLSS, and JMAR, etc..

Participate in integrating testing tools such as Selenium testing and OWASP Dependency checker into CI/CD Jenkins Pipeline.

Position Requirements:

Completed or Initiated DoD Tier 3 Background Investigation. (ADP/IT II or Secret Clearance)

Possess approved DoD 8570.01-M IA baseline certifications required for the the IAT II positon category and level [one of: CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP, CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH].

Experience with the following tools/technologies:

Infrastructure as Code (IaC) o

Container experience, specifically Docker, Rancher, and Kubernetes

o

Shell Scripting o

Fluency with automation tools, such as Ansible o

Jenkins experience, including creating Shared Libraries functions o

GitLab experience o

API calls o

Groovy scripting

Current working knowledge and experience with Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins and automation is preferred.

Experience with Source Code repositories such as PVCS (Version Manager) and Git is preferred

Experience with RedHat OS.

Working knowledge in Open Source Frameworks (Like NodeJS, Maven, and the Apache Foundation) is preferred.

Bachelor's Degree desired.

Experience in DevOps practices is desired (including SDLC).
