Title: Customer Service Representative
Location: Clifton, NJ area
Duration: Direct Hire
Schedule: M-F Full Time
Target Start Date: ASAP

Our manufacturing client is currently seeking a Customer Service Representative. Main focus is order entry and order processing experience. Experience with the entire order processing cycle from beginning to end. Experience with Export / Freight Forwarders / International. SAP experience is a must.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform all aspects of customer order processing for both domestic and export orders
  • Initiate, monitor, and coordinate high volume of email communications between customers, freight forwarders, and internal departments to ensure orders are processed accurately and delivered on time
  • Process sample requests and customer returns
  • Respond to customer and sales force inquiries via phone and email
  • Maintain and update customer requirements and account information in database / operating systems
  • Monitor stocking levels at warehouses based on sales history and forecasts
  • Place orders and track inbound container shipments from intercompany sites
  • Filing and other clerical/administrative duties as needed
Requirements:
  • Minimum three years’ experience in a Customer Service role dealing directly with customers and internal departments via phone and email (i.e., processing orders, samples, returns, account updates, general customer support, etc.).
  • Experience with overseas shipping and working with freight forwarders, preferred but not required
  • Must be detail oriented, with ability to multi-task, prioritize and respond to high volume incoming orders and inquiries promptly and with accuracy
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers and co-workers
  • Professional, team-oriented, pleasant attitude with strong desire to provide quality service and achieve customer satisfaction
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in database software/operating system (SAP)
