Job Title: Backend Developer (Mid Level)

Job Location: Dulles, VA (Remote till COVID)

Duration: 12+ months with possible extension

Job Description

• Back-end developer with 10+ years of experience in Java / J2ee including object-oriented design and design patterns, software architecture, multi-threading and debugging skills, and supporting streaming pipelines, services, and APIs on existing strategic product initiatives and component maintenance
• In-app monetization product initiative support
• Custom dashboards product initiative support
• Login/identity, in-app messaging, admin portal support
• CI/CD, E2E environment, security updates, component maintenance
• Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms
• Good knowledge of popular Java frameworks (Spring, Hibernate) and REST API
• Good knowledge of databases techniques (on relational and nonSQL databases)
• Unix experience (command line mostly, scripting less)
• Experience with code repository, (i.e. GIT or SVN)
• Experience with Agile
• Plus: Storm, Kafka
