Inside Sales Account Executive-Starkville, MS

This position will focus on developing new accounts and expanding existing accounts, promoting all products in Synergetics' portfolio of products and services. Additionally support the (Outside) Sales Account Executive for specified territory(s) while working effectively in a team environment towards goals.
Essential Job Functions:
o Provide ETAs and delivery dates when requested
o Provide lead times and order status when requested
o Answer all customer questions in accurately and in a timely manner
o Answer Sales line/customer calls for quote requests, order updates, questions, etc.
o Correspond service details to customers when requested
o Stay up to date with new information and pricing for existing products
o Stay up to date with end of life and replacement models/part numbers
o Continue to research ETA, stock, and supply chain issues and keep customers informed
o Keep up to date with all manufacturer promotions, special projects, etc.
o Research and compare competitor pricing and services
o Understand state funding plans and opportunities provided by OSAE
o Partner and internal sales trainings
o Attend all sales meetings, individual territory meetings, and partner meetings
o Correspond with Service regarding install dates, costs, and timing
o Communicate with Finance regarding tax codes, bank information, and other financial information when needed
o Provide support to all OSAE when needed
- Set up demos with customers
- Set appointments
- Send customer documentation when needed
- Provide customer contact info/addresses
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in business, educational technology, marketing, sales, or related field preferred.
1+ years of customer service/ sales experience
Understands sales strategies
Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, CRM, etc.
Strong written and verbal communication
Ability to problem solve
Provide detailed correspondence with customers, co-workers, and various business contacts in a professional and courteous manner
Ability to organize and prioritize multiple work assignments.
Ability to pay close attention to detail.
Ability to make sound decisions using information at hand
