Job Description

We are seeking an Desktop Manager to join our growing team.

The position scope includes Operations, Finance, Client relationship building, Sales, Contracts, and personnel management. This account has over 60 FTE and supports over 1800 agency staff and 250,000 external customers. The position is responsible for Program Strategy, Base Purchase Agreement and Task Order Delivery Management, Program Management, Communication Management, Status Reporting and Account Leadership. The position is contingent upon the contract award.

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Directs the completion of tasks within estimated timeframes and budget constraints.
  • Schedules and assigns duties to subordinates and subcontractors and ensures assignments are completed as directed.
  • Resolves work discrepancies to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
  • Prepares written and oral reports for contractor management and the government customer.
  • Provide leadership and responsible for program direction through successful performance of a variety of detailed, diverse project transitioning.
  • Provides Desktop Architecture for the federal program.
  • Provides reporting, Compliance Analysis, (Maintenance, Licensing, Security, Encryption, Records Management).

Experience and Qualifications:

  • 10 years overall management experience, 6+ years experience operations of an enterprise program and leading the Services Management team that provides Tier 1 and Tier 2 hardware and software support.
  • Demonstrated IT expertise and communications skills to be able to interface with all levels of management.
  • Experience providing exceptional customer service in a federal environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in Asset/Inventory Management, Refresh Management, Security Management, Procurement, Risk Analysis, and Root Cause Analysis.
  • Experience working and leading teams in a mature, structured environment where processes, procedures, and policies are executed and administered throughout the project team, and in cross-team integrated environments. Examples include CMMI3-Dev, PMI, ITIL/ITSM, ISO-27001, ISO-9001, Scrum, etc.

Education, Certifications and Clearance Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
  • Ability to obtain and retain a public trust clearance.
