Title Senior Data Analyst
Description: Responsible for establishing data gathering requirements for new customer-facing functionality and is accountable for ensuring quality and consistency in implementation
By blending their interpersonal, technical, and analytical capabilities, they enable to the team to achieve thoughtful and comprehensive reporting solutions.
Find and investigate data issues across platforms and applications, including discrepancies in data definition, format and function
Give perspective and insight when assessing Releases and Hot Fixes so the team can correctly make Go/No-Go decisions.
Perform defect management using tools like TDP, JIRA, AgileCraft, and drive delivery teams to find and fix issues.
Evaluate and document data test cases and work with stakeholders to improve and execute them.
Deep data analysis with tools such as Power Pivot, Adobe Analytics, Business Objects, and Tableau
Browser development tools including the console, network, and sources tabs
Web redirect/rewrite rules and traffic analysis using proxy and debug tools like Charles, Fiddler, Requestly, etc.
Test automation with Selenium and recorded web sessions in Tealeaf
Debugging traffic generated by native/mobile apps running in emulators and on physical devices
Extract and cross-reference data from warehouses using SQL and other internal tools
Speak to web-related concepts such as A/B testing, personalization, segmentation, and targeting.
Collaborate across multiple disciplines: Product managers, business owners, reporting partners, analytics product team, DBAs, etc.
Learn, adhere to, and promote the use of data governance standards
Weigh and compare cost v. benefit in solution design decisions according to reporting requirements they address
Skills Qualifications: 3-5 years of experience
Able to work in a technical environment and able to perform technical functions related to the job.
Hands-on experience with a variety of tools for debugging web and mobile traffic
Technical Comprehension, Design, Project Management
Data validation and quality assurance skills
Self-starters with innate curiosity and a passion for data and continuous improvement.
Understand complex data structures and user contexts and how they persist across disparate applications and technologies
