Job Summary:

The Sales Account Manager oversees sales activities within a defined territory and manages accounts within that assigned territory.

Prepares and presents cost estimates and price quotations to accounts within the set pricing policy of the product lines. Develops and implements the account's business strategy and plans that will achieve the account's objectives. Maintains business relationships with accounts and develops new opportunities. Provides customer service to assigned customer accounts; understanding business requirements. Ensures execution of the developed sales strategies, objectives, goals and targeted revenue generation. Manages key or specific customer accounts. Has contact with customers/prospects, and often acts independently in the sales process. Has a basic knowledge of broad product lines, and may have more in-depth knowledge of specific products.


  • Sell Sycle products within an assigned territory.
  • Monitors existing accounts and regularly communicates with primary contacts.
  • Establish new accounts within the assigned territory.
  • Increase sales growth within the assigned territory at an established rate.
  • Assist with the coordination of sales efforts for other territories and sales representatives.
  • Convert existing and new leads into active accounts.
  • Respond efficiently to advanced customer inquiries and effectively address/resolve customer barriers (i.e. cost,operational change, etc.) to adoption.
  • Perform product demonstrations.
  • Effectively work with various departments to create a positive customer experience by ensuring a smooth handoff to training.
  • Accurately and efficiently enter lead information into the lead management system.
  • Proactively manage the lead pipeline database to ensure prompt follow up and execution from lead to converted customer.
  • Act as liaison between customer and the Sycle Product Team to facilitate meetings regarding new features.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to travel as required for team and industry events (25%).
  • Ability to build and maintain professional business relationships with clients and Sycle staff.
  • Ability to understand and translate customer needs into sales

  • Coachable with a curious, flexible approach to learning new skills and concepts.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Sales or a related field is preferred.
  • Medical SAAS sales experience is preferred.
  • 2-5 years of sales experience is required.
