Integration Manager

Your Tasks

The Integration Manager works directly with Sales, Systems Engineering, Engineering, Project & Site Management, Software, Controls, as well as our vendor teams to ensure homogenization on system design, development, and implementation to deliver an on-time, highly-efficient, and high-quality project solution.

Core tasks

· Pre-sales system analysis, design, and planning support.

· Ownership of the project technical solution open items list.

· Evaluation, validation, and management of system performance key metrics via simulation and/or emulation.

· Participation in vendor selection via design review.

· System interfacing management for high and low-level communications.

· Management and specification of project key Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs)

· Leadership and development of a system acceptance testing plan with internal teams and customers in accordance with contractual requirements for successful completion of Site Acceptance Tests (SATs)

· Monitoring and controlling/planning as well as direct on-site management of on-site commissioning and integration activities, submitting periodic (daily, weekly, and/or monthly) management reports, whilst maintaining the integration punch list

· System performance and reliability management during customer ramp-up leading to FAC (final acceptance), including the execution of any required FAC testing

Flexibility

· Required to provide out of hours support to coordinate and clarify functionality amongst all system suppliers

· Ability to travel around 25% - 75% and work outside standard business hours if required

Education / Qualification

· Diploma Degree in Information Systems & Technology or equivalent

or

· Diploma Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Controls / Software Engineering

· Knowledge of Simulation & Emulation technologies

Experience

· AutoCAD

· Writing and interpreting specifications

· Project Management

· Experience in the management of teams of subcontractors

· Experience with the implementation of automated material handling and logistics systems

· Solid understanding of information systems and engineering theory and the project life cycle for material handling systems

· Sound application knowledge of automated material handling equipment such as AS/RS, pallet and case conveyors, sorters, AGV’s, monorails

· Good knowledge of the Swisslog products and solutions across all tiers, i.e. subsystems and warehouse management system functionality

· Good basic knowledge of various IT platforms and Network technology

· Knowledge of subsystem interfaces (SIS an asset)

· Involvement in logistic system solution design and subsystem solution design

· Commissioning of automated material handling systems for several years

· Data and information analysis, troubleshooting / fault-finding
