Sr. Product Manager

The Swell Product and Engineering group is a tight-knit team of people who are passionate about making the best possible solution for our customers. We're about to embark on our most exciting year ever, and we're looking for a Product Manager to join us who can help envision, build, and deliver amazing new value to our customers.

Swell is a communications platform that allows businesses to interface with their customers through text and email. With a focus on healthcare, we help our customers build the social proof they need to grow their business while also giving them insights into how to improve their customers' experiences.

The Senior Product Manager will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of products and features that align with the company's overall strategy and goals. This requires a deep understanding of both technical and business aspects of the product, continuous communication and learning from our customers and market, as well as the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams. The Senior Product Manager serves as the primary point of contact for all teams, including sales, marketing, development, and customers.

Responsibilities

• Build and execute a product strategy and roadmap that is consistent with company goals and product vision
• Create a compelling vision that aligns work and is persuasive to stakeholders, team members, and external partners
• Gather and synthesize feedback and data from stakeholders, customers, and market research to identify product opportunities
• Prepare and present initiative briefs, vision artifacts, and other deliverables
• Prioritize and coordinate product development efforts across cross-functional teams
• Lead planning and initiate preparation for product launches, coordinating with marketing on go-to market strategy, positioning, and messaging
• Monitor and analyze product performance and data to gain insights into how to improve product experiences
• Monitor pre-launch and post-launch metrics, help teams define what success looks like
• Speak with users directly to better understand their needs, test solutions, and bring alignment and focus to development efforts
• Ensure products meet legal and compliance requirements
• Conduct experiments to test if proposed solutions are intuitive and beneficial for customers
• Communicate product vision and strategy to internal stakeholders and external partners

Requirements

• 5+ years' experience of working as a product manager or relevant position
• to influence others and work on cross-functional teams
• Proven ability to own a problem, remove barriers, and deliver successful products
• Experience working with design, engineering, and business stakeholders to take an initiative from ideation to release
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Able to embrace ambiguity and develop a vision
• Experience with a variety of user research and product discovery techniques
• Able to produce simple mockups, user flows, and other artifacts to help clarify product vision for developers and stakeholders
• Able to work in a dynamic, collaborative, and transparent way with engineering team and other departments
• Experience with agile development methodologies
