CDL Lowboy Driver/Equipment Operator (New England Milling Division)

Swank Construction Company, LLC has been a leader in the heavy/highway construction industry for over 80 years. Swank Construction Company is looking for a CDL Lowboy Driver/Equipment Operator to join our New England Milling Division. TO BE CONSIDERED A QUALIFIED APPLICANT
- Ability to operate a lowboy truck and trailer to and from different job sites.
- Ability to operate a service truck when needed.
- Ability to operate or learn to operate a Rota-Mill.
- Maintenance of truck and trailer and milling equipment and machinery, which includes checking fluids, changing teeth, and washing the machine.
- Keep job sites clean of all unused/waste materials and ensure all equipment is stored in a safe and secure manner.
- Ability to load and unload equipment safely and efficiently at various locations.
- Ensure all payloads are loaded securely before moving to ensure safety and to comply with company and DOT standards.
- Must be able to comply with and follow all DOT requirements and regulations.
- Dependable, Reliable, Punctual, & Self Motivated.
- Must be available to work varied shifts (days, nights, weekends)
- Willingness to travel.
- Valid Class A CDL - Required.
- Up-to-date DOT Medical Card - Required.
- Two (2) years' experience as a CDL/Lowboy Driver - Required.
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screens & background checks, including MVR.
- Ensure the practice of safety standards in accordance with company policies and OSHA.
- Perform all other tasks and follow instructions as directed by direct supervisors.
