Job Description
Hilton Head Solar & Roofing is seeking a motivated Canvasser to join our team!
We are not a “one size fits all” provider. We customize and design each system to meet our customers’ needs and we do not subcontract out the work.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Generate interest from homeowners by educating them on the benefits of solar
  • Visit customers’ homes for introductory appointments set by our canvassing team.
  • Return to customers for a second appointment with a full proposal to present and close.
  • Complete necessary paperwork to obtain financing approval and hand off the customer to our operations team.
  • Cultivate a referral network from your customers.
  • Communicating with management team to analyze and improve marketing/sales tactics and processes.
  • Complete Solar Site Applications with the Homeowner
  • Obtain a copy of the Homeowner’s Utility Bill
  • Set follow up appointments in the field with homeowners for a solar consultation
  • Achieving personal and team sales goals and objectives.

Requirements:
  • Sales Experience (Solar sales highly preferred)
  • Reliable transportation
  • Reachable – Communicate well via phone, text, email
  • Professional – Good image, good demeanor
  • Knowledgeable – Product knowledge
  • Student Mentality – Ask the right questions, learn from mistakes
  • Good Attitude – Offer solutions, do not present problems
