Location: Glendale Heights, IL

Reports to: The Account Manager will report to VP, Corporate Operations

Position Summary: SIS is currently looking for an experienced Account Manager. This position will play an integral role in the growth and organizational strength of our company. The Account Manager will be the primary point of contact for, and build strong relationships with, both internal and external customers. He/She will be responsible for working with the Sales team to onboard and integrate new customers and developing existing customer relationships. He/She will deliver exceptional customer service on a day-to-day basis. Qualified candidates will have solid verbal and written communication skills, a strong attention to detail, the ability to effectively multi-task and a friendly demeanor.

Key Accountabilities:

· Promptly and accurately answer questions from and provide information to internal and external customers

· Be familiar with and correctly apply various pricing structures

· Develop error-free estimates in SIS software programs and ensure they are delivered to customers in a timely manner

· Work closely with outside vendors and ensure consistent follow-up on orders

· Work with VP, Technical Operations and repair technicians to answer questions regarding repairs

· Create and print error-free shipping documents for all orders

· Ensure timely creation and processing of purchase orders

· Other projects, as assigned

Key Competencies:

· Superior computer skills required (spreadsheets, word processing, databases, email, etc.)

· Proven experience as an account specialist/manager

· Strong communication (both oral and written) and interpersonal skills

· Extremely thorough and detail-oriented

· Excellent organizational skills

· Ability to work well under time constraints

· Ability to work as an integral part of a team

· Aptitude for problem solving and identifying process improvement opportunities

· Medical equipment knowledge a plus

· FileMaker and/or Traverse proficiency a plus
